Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with various tasks on construction sites.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to work areas.
  • Prepare work sites by cleaning debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing tools.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
  • Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth.
  • Mix and pour concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
  • Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment.
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies diligently.
  • Perform general labor duties as assigned by supervisors or project managers.
  • Support the overall construction team in achieving project milestones and deadlines.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform strenuous physical tasks.
  • Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
