Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with various tasks on construction sites.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to work areas.
- Prepare work sites by cleaning debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing tools.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth.
- Mix and pour concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies diligently.
- Perform general labor duties as assigned by supervisors or project managers.
- Support the overall construction team in achieving project milestones and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform strenuous physical tasks.
