Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with various tasks.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, clearing obstacles, and setting up work zones.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely.
- Dig trenches, compact earth, and fill excavations as directed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Transport materials around the construction site as needed.
- Perform general clean-up duties to maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
- Assist with the dismantling of temporary structures and site elements.
- Support the team in ensuring projects are completed on schedule and to quality standards.
