Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, masons, plumbers, electricians) with various tasks on site.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding or temporary structures.
- Operate basic hand and power tools, such as hammers, shovels, wheelbarrows, and drills, as instructed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Perform general clean-up duties, including sweeping, tidying, and waste removal.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist in the demolition of structures or parts of structures as required.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and follow instructions from site supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the site manager or foreman.
Required Skills
- Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding manual labor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and protocols.
