Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., masons, carpenters, electricians) with various tasks.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform general site cleanup and maintain an organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Move earth, gravel, and other materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, and other manual tools.
- Assist in the demolition of structures and removal of rubble.
- Support the mixing and pouring of concrete, and spreading of asphalt.
- Report any safety hazards or issues to the site supervisor immediately.
