Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform general site clean-up and maintenance tasks.
- Assist skilled tradespersons (e.g., masons, carpenters, electricians) as needed.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth.
- Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Prepare sites for concrete pours, foundation work, and other construction activities.
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures, scaffolding, and barricades.
- Report any safety hazards or issues to the site supervisor.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform strenuous tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures.
