Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled workers and supervisors in all aspects of demolition activities.
- Perform manual labour, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials such as rubble, timber, and metal.
- Operate basic hand and power tools (e.g., jackhammers, saws) safely and efficiently under direct supervision.
- Clear debris, sweep, and maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment at all times.
- Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and prepare them for use.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific rules.
- Set up and dismantle temporary structures, safety barriers, and site hoardings.
- Participate actively in daily site briefings, risk assessments, and safety discussions.
- Support general site preparation and clean-up tasks before, during, and after demolition operations.
- Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
