Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters, electricians) with various tasks on site.
- Load, unload, and transport materials such as bricks, timber, cement, and tools.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up equipment.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tidying up work areas and disposing of waste properly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific rules.
- Assist with the erection and dismantling of scaffolding, temporary structures, and site hoardings when required.
- Perform general maintenance tasks and repairs on construction equipment and tools.
- Support the overall team effort to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
