Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters, electricians) with various tasks on site.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials such as bricks, timber, cement, and tools.
  • Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up equipment.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tidying up work areas and disposing of waste properly.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific rules.
  • Assist with the erection and dismantling of scaffolding, temporary structures, and site hoardings when required.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks and repairs on construction equipment and tools.
  • Support the overall team effort to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Required Skills

  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
