Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters, electricians) with various tasks.
  • Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
  • Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Perform general site clean-up and maintenance tasks.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
  • Support the movement of materials around the site as required.
  • Manual handling of heavy objects and materials.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are kept clean and in good working order.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
