Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from conception to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, forecasting costs, and ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, providing timely reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, health and safety legislation, and environmental standards.
- Manage contract negotiations and administration with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Motivate, mentor, and lead project teams to achieve project objectives and foster a collaborative work environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager (minimum 5 years).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations in the UK.
