Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced scaffolders in the safe assembly and dismantling of scaffolding structures according to blueprints and safety regulations.
- Transport scaffolding materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas.
- Inspect scaffolding components for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety policies, procedures, and wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform general labor tasks as required to support construction operations.
- Learn and understand different types of scaffolding systems and their proper use.
- Support the team in ensuring the stability and security of erected structures.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform manual labor.
- Ability to work effectively in an outdoor construction environment, often at heights.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
