Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, plumbers, electricians, etc.) with their daily tasks.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
- Operate hand and power tools under direct supervision.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and assist with leveling earth to fine grades.
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding, barricades, and shoring.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring they are clean and stored correctly.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas at the beginning and end of each workday.
- Learn and comply with all company policies and procedures, contributing to a cohesive team environment.
