Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely project delivery.
- Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections.
- Monitor project progress against schedule and budget, identifying potential delays or cost overruns and implementing corrective measures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, site diaries, and other relevant documentation.
- Conduct quality control checks and inspections, ensuring materials and workmanship meet required standards.
- Resolve on-site technical issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner, collaborating with the project management team.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of site equipment and machinery.
- Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and site teams.
- Assist in the procurement and management of construction materials and resources.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
