Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians and engineers with on-site construction tasks and project execution.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Handle and prepare various construction materials, ensuring proper storage and usage.
- Operate and maintain basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Participate in site clean-up and organization, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Conduct basic quality checks on materials and completed work sections as instructed.
- Observe and learn proper safety procedures and protocols on construction sites.
- Provide support in performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
- Document and report progress, observations, and any issues encountered on-site to supervisors.
- Actively participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent (SSCE/GCE/NECO).
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the construction industry.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team.
- Good basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
