Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and aspiring Construction Welder – Apprentice Metalwork to join our dynamic team in Ogudu, Lagos. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior welders and metal fabricators in various construction projects.
- Learn and apply different welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW) under supervision.
- Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in site setup and cleanup activities.
- Perform quality checks on welds and fabricated components to ensure adherence to standards.
- Demonstrate a continuous willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and challenges.
