As an Entry-Level Construction Worker, you will be an integral part of our construction crews, supporting a wide range of tasks and learning practical skills in a supervised environment. You will be exposed to various aspects of construction, from site preparation and material handling to assisting skilled tradespeople. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians, etc.) with various tasks on site.
- Perform general labor duties, including clearing and preparing construction sites, digging trenches, and loading/unloading materials.
- Handle and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, removing debris and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision, after receiving proper training.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of temporary structures, scaffolding, and barricades.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced team members diligently.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to a supervisor.
- Participate actively in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
