Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties at construction sites, including site preparation, trenching, and clean-up.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, electricians, and plumbers.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and barricades, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently to maintain a safe working environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans as needed for project execution.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure project efficiency and safety.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
- Participate in site meetings, safety briefings, and training sessions as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Construction Worker or in a similar manual labor role.
- Proficiency in operating basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
