Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor duties, including site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling and transportation.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently, such as drills, saws, grinders, and jackhammers.
  • Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with tasks as needed.
  • Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Prepare construction sites by digging trenches, erecting scaffolding, and setting up temporary structures.
  • Follow all company and site-specific safety regulations and procedures, wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction drawings to understand project specifications.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions or damage.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a physically demanding outdoor construction environment.
  • Basic knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment.
  • Strong understanding and commitment to construction site safety practices.
