Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties, including site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling and transportation.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently, such as drills, saws, grinders, and jackhammers.
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with tasks as needed.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare construction sites by digging trenches, erecting scaffolding, and setting up temporary structures.
- Follow all company and site-specific safety regulations and procedures, wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction drawings to understand project specifications.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions or damage.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a physically demanding outdoor construction environment.
