Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on construction sites.
- Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth to grade specifications.
- Load and unload building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, and other temporary structures.
- Assist skilled tradespersons (e.g., carpenters, masons, electricians) with their duties.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and potential issues.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in general labor or construction work (minimum 3 years).
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction procedures, safety guidelines, and equipment.
- Proficiency in using common hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications
