As a Container Engineer at Career.zycto, you will be at the heart of our infrastructure, working on critical systems that power our core services. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of containerized applications, from initial setup and configuration to deployment, monitoring, and scaling. This includes developing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines that automate our release processes, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and speed. You’ll collaborate closely with our development, operations, and security teams, providing expertise and guidance on best practices for container security, performance optimization, and fault tolerance. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain containerization strategies using Docker.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for high availability and scalability.
- Develop, automate, and improve CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the reliability of container infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate container best practices into application lifecycles.
- Implement and enforce security best practices for containerized environments.
- Contribute to infrastructure as code initiatives using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support.
Required Skills
- Expertise in Docker and containerization principles.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes orchestration and management.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems and administration.
- Familiarity with networking concepts within containerized environments.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with GitOps methodologies.
