Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Architect and maintain highly available and scalable Kubernetes clusters across various cloud environments.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized application deployments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Implement and enforce security best practices for container images, registries, and runtime environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues related to container orchestration and underlying infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Evaluate and integrate new containerization tools and technologies to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and cross-functional teams.
- Document system architectures, processes, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Expertise in Docker and containerization best practices
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes cluster management, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and shell scripting (Bash)
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Go
