Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage content marketing strategies for CBZ Bank, with a focus on regional relevance for Mashonaland East Province.
- Create high-quality, engaging content including blog posts, social media updates, website copy, email newsletters, articles, and other marketing materials.
- Manage and maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely publication and consistency across all platforms.
- Conduct research to identify local market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform content creation.
- Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility and organic search rankings.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics (e.g., website traffic, engagement, conversions) and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team, sales, and branch staff to ensure content aligns with overall business goals and campaigns.
- Ensure all content adheres to CBZ Bank's brand guidelines, regulatory compliance, and high standards of accuracy.
- Engage with the community online and offline, fostering positive brand perception and customer loyalty.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in content creation and digital marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Shona (advantageous).
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into effective content strategies.
- Creative thinking with an eye for detail and a strong aesthetic sense.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the Murehwa/Mashonaland East Province market and community.
