Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full-Time Conveyancing Clerk to join our thriving legal practice in Gerresheim, Düsseldorf. Your daily responsibilities will span the entire conveyancing process. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage conveyancing files from initial instruction through to post-completion, ensuring adherence to strict timelines.
  • Draft and prepare a wide range of legal documents, contracts, and correspondence accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough property searches, land registry inquiries, and due diligence checks.
  • Act as a primary point of contact, liaising effectively with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties.
  • Handle land registry applications, stamp duty land tax submissions, and all post-completion formalities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, physical files, and digital case management systems.
  • Process financial transactions related to conveyancing, including invoicing and reconciliation.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and legal research support to conveyancing lawyers.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant German legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to property transactions.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a conveyancing clerk, legal assistant, or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of conveyancing processes and German property law.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
