As a Cook with Career.zycto, you will be instrumental in the daily preparation and execution of our diverse menu offerings. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items as per recipes and quality standards set by the Head Chef.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of taste and visual appeal.
- Manage a specific kitchen station (e.g., grill, sauté, prep) efficiently during service.
- Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP) at all times.
- Monitor food stock and communicate inventory needs to the kitchen manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, equipment, and overall kitchen area.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries appropriately.
- Contribute to menu development and special promotions as requested.
- Minimize food waste through proper portion control and inventory management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar culinary establishment.
- Solid understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
