Key Responsibilities

  • Meticulously proofread and edit a wide range of content (e.g., articles, reports, website copy, marketing materials) for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax errors.
  • Ensure consistency in style, tone, and brand voice across all written communications, adhering to established style guides.
  • Verify factual accuracy and provide constructive feedback to content creators to enhance clarity, readability, and overall quality.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including content, marketing, and project management, to meet tight deadlines and maintain high standards.
  • Develop and update internal style guides and best practices for written content.
  • Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Stay informed about current language trends and editorial best practices.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Copy Editor, Proofreader, or similar role.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Strong understanding of style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago, or a similar house style).
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
