Zantel is seeking a highly motivated and creative Copywriting Junior Assistant to join our dynamic Marketing & Communications team in Madungu, Chake Chake. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading engaging copy for various marketing and communication channels.
- Contribute to the development of creative concepts for advertising campaigns and promotional materials.
- Support the content team in managing social media content calendars and drafting posts that align with brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience insights to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure copy and visuals are cohesive and impactful.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, and style across all communication materials.
- Support the creation of internal communications and corporate messaging as needed.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for content creation.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading abilities.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms and digital content formats.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles for content optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
