Career.zycto is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Corporate Travel Assistant to join our team in Derre, Zambezia Province. This part-time role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of travel arrangements for our employees and executives. You will be instrumental in coordinating all aspects of business travel, from initial booking to post-trip reconciliation, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for our travelers. We are looking for someone with a proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong commitment to accuracy and service. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating various booking systems, understanding travel policies, and providing timely and resourceful support. Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and book domestic and international flights, accommodation, car rentals, and other travel services, ensuring adherence to company travel policies and budget constraints.
- Prepare comprehensive travel itineraries, including detailed schedules, contact information, and necessary documentation for travelers.
- Process travel expense reports, reconcile invoices, and ensure timely submission for reimbursement or payment.
- Act as a primary point of contact for travelers, providing support and resolving any issues or changes that arise before, during, or after their trips.
- Maintain accurate records of travel expenditures and arrangements, contributing to regular reporting on travel costs and efficiency.
- Research and recommend cost-effective travel options and solutions, staying updated on industry trends and travel regulations.
- Assist with visa applications, travel insurance, and other necessary travel documentation as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in corporate travel coordination or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency with travel booking systems and online travel agencies (OTAs).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or certificate in Travel and Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with local travel options and service providers within Mozambique and Southern Africa.
- Knowledge of an additional local language such as Portuguese or Sena.
