Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and deliver parcels to designated addresses within the University of Passau Area and surrounding Passau region.
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Utilize navigation tools and route planning software to optimize delivery efficiency and meet scheduled deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and package statuses using handheld devices or other provided systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions, handling inquiries and ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs or issues promptly.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage and ensure secure transportation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures for handling various types of parcels.
Required Skills
- Valid German Class B driving license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25 kg.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using navigation apps and GPS devices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
