Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessments of existing loan portfolios.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and forecast potential credit losses.
- Develop and maintain financial models to stress-test portfolios under various economic scenarios.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on portfolio health, risk exposures, and mitigation strategies for senior management.
- Collaborate with credit officers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to enhance risk management frameworks.
- Formulate and recommend strategies for portfolio optimization, including limit setting and concentration management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in credit risk management.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new credit products and risk assessment tools.
- Provide analytical support for ad-hoc projects related to credit risk and portfolio management.
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes impacting credit portfolios.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in credit analysis, risk management, or portfolio management within financial services.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis (Excel, SQL, Python/R a plus).
- Strong understanding of credit products, lending cycles, and regulatory environments.
