Job Description
This is a critical role within CRDB Bank Plc, where you will be at the forefront of transforming complex customer data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions across various departments. As a Customer Analytics Reporting Expert, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced analytics reports and interactive dashboards. Your work will provide key stakeholders, from executive leadership to departmental managers, with a crystal-clear understanding of customer behavior, preferences, segmentation, and overall engagement with our products and services. You will be instrumental in identifying emerging market trends, predicting future customer needs and potential churn, and meticulously measuring the effectiveness of our diverse marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer service initiatives.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, sales, and operations, you will translate ambiguous business questions into well-defined analytical problems. You will be a key player in shaping and championing our data-driven approach to customer relationship management, influencing product innovation, marketing effectiveness, and overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and automate comprehensive customer analytics reports and dashboards using various business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense).
- Extract, clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify key customer insights, trends, and patterns.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on customer segmentation, churn prediction, lifetime value, and campaign performance.
- Collaborate with business units (Marketing, Product, Sales) to understand their reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders through clear, concise, and compelling visualisations and narratives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of customer engagement strategies and provide data-backed recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in customer analytics, data science, and reporting technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure and analytical methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in customer analytics, business intelligence, or data reporting roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expertise in using at least one major BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense) for dashboard creation and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling).
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with financial services industry data and regulatory requirements.
