Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and appealing sales floor and service area.
- Assist with stock replenishment, merchandising, and ensuring products are clearly priced.
- Provide detailed information about products and services, guiding customers through their choices.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints with empathy, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Support promotional activities and special events as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work day shifts, including weekends and public holidays as per rota.
Preferred Qualifications
- GCSEs or equivalent, particularly in English and Maths.
- Experience in a retail or service environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management procedures.
- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
