Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound customer inquiries via phone calls and live chat, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Take initiative to identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline processes and improve customer experience.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of company products, services, and policies to effectively assist customers.

Required Skills

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative.
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a conducive home workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with chat support platforms.
  • Proficiency in additional Nigerian languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle difficult customers with grace and professionalism.
  • Experience in a remote work environment.
