Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with clients, freight forwarders, carriers, and government agencies to gather necessary documentation and information.
  • Review import/export documents (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) for accuracy and compliance with customs regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity within customs brokerage software and systems.
  • Actively learn and interpret customs regulations, trade agreements, and other international trade laws.
  • Support the resolution of customs-related inquiries, discrepancies, and issues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in customs brokerage.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely processing of shipments.
