Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough research on tariff classifications, valuation methods, and applicable duty rates.
- Communicate effectively with clients, freight forwarders, carriers, and government agencies to gather necessary documentation and information.
- Review import/export documents (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) for accuracy and compliance with customs regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity within customs brokerage software and systems.
- Actively learn and interpret customs regulations, trade agreements, and other international trade laws.
- Support the resolution of customs-related inquiries, discrepancies, and issues.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in customs brokerage.
