Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Cyber Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic security operations team in Milbertshofen, Munich. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be instrumental in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating emerging cyber threats that could impact our operations and clients. Your day-to-day will involve a deep dive into threat landscapes, monitoring dark web forums, analyzing malware samples, and dissecting sophisticated phishing campaigns. You will work closely with incident response teams, security engineers, and leadership to communicate critical intelligence, contribute to threat briefings, and enhance our overall security posture. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis of global and localized cyber threats, including actors, TTPs, and motivations.
  • Monitor open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web forums, and proprietary feeds for relevant threat data.
  • Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports, briefings, and dashboards for various stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with incident response teams to provide timely intelligence during active security incidents.
  • Perform malware analysis and reverse engineering to understand threat capabilities and inform defensive measures.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of threat detection rules, security controls, and intelligence platforms.
  • Proactively identify vulnerabilities and potential attack surfaces based on intelligence gathered.
  • Participate in tabletop exercises and simulations to test and refine intelligence-driven defense strategies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in cyber threat intelligence, security operations, or incident response.
  • Strong understanding of the cyber kill chain, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and threat intelligence lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Experience with OSINT gathering techniques and analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
  • Ability to analyze malware, identify indicators of compromise (IOCs), and develop signatures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as GCTI, CySA+, CASP+, or CEH.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of geopolitical factors influencing cyber threats.
  • Understanding of cloud security concepts and threats (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in German is a plus.
