Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS) for alerts and anomalies, escalating critical incidents as necessary.
- Assist in the initial investigation and analysis of security incidents, providing support to senior analysts.
- Perform routine vulnerability scans and assist in the remediation efforts for identified weaknesses.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks.
- Participate in security awareness training initiatives for employees.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of security controls and configurations across various systems and networks.
- Collaborate with IT operations teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into system deployments and updates.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies through continuous learning and research.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, network protocols (TCP/IP), and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
