This position requires a deep understanding of cyberattack methodologies, threat actor motivations, and the ability to translate complex technical data into clear, actionable intelligence for various stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening our security posture by providing timely and relevant insights that inform strategic decisions and enhance our protective measures against sophisticated cyber threats. If you possess a strong analytical mind, a passion for cybersecurity, and a commitment to staying ahead of the adversary, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor global threat landscapes for emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methodologies relevant to our operational environment and critical assets.
  • Collect, process, and analyze raw threat data from diverse sources (e.g., OSINT, commercial intelligence feeds, dark web forums, internal incident reports) to produce actionable intelligence reports.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive threat profiles for relevant threat actors, campaigns, and indicators of compromise (IOCs), ensuring they are current and accurate.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc threat intelligence reports, strategic briefings, and timely alerts for technical teams, security operations, and executive leadership, adapting content for different audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with incident response, security operations, and engineering teams to integrate threat intelligence into defensive strategies, security tooling, and incident playbooks.
  • Proactively identify gaps in current intelligence collection and analysis capabilities, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance our overall threat intelligence program.
  • Participate in post-incident analysis to identify root causes, extract lessons learned, and improve future threat detection, prevention, and response mechanisms.
  • Contribute to the development, enhancement, and operationalization of threat intelligence platforms, tools, and processes.
  • Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional growth within the threat intelligence team.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (4+ years) in a dedicated cyber threat intelligence, security operations, or similar analytical role, preferably within a large enterprise or government setting.
  • Strong understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, cyber kill chain, and intelligence analysis methodologies (e.g., F3EAD, DIAMOND).
  • Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools.
  • Expertise in analyzing network traffic, malicious code behaviors, and various log sources to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) and attack patterns.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various threat actor types (nation-state, cybercrime, hacktivist) and their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, with an aptitude for detail-oriented work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant industry certifications such as GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or equivalent.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for data manipulation, automation, and custom tool development.
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and threat intelligence in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in malware reverse engineering, digital forensics, or vulnerability research.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
