Key Responsibilities
- Vigilantly monitor security alerts and events generated by various security tools (SIEM, EDR, etc.).
- Perform initial analysis and triage of security incidents to determine their nature and severity.
- Escalate critical security issues and complex incidents to senior cybersecurity analysts or incident response teams.
- Accurately document all security incidents, investigations, and remediation steps in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing security monitoring tools and systems.
- Participate in regular security awareness training and continuous professional development.
- Support vulnerability management efforts by reporting identified weaknesses.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of security operations processes and playbooks.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
