Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
- Monitor security systems for anomalies and respond to security incidents promptly and effectively.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and infrastructure design.
- Perform forensic analysis on compromised systems, identify root causes, and develop comprehensive remediation plans.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, trends, and defensive technologies.
- Provide expert security awareness training and guidance to employees across all departments.
- Manage and configure critical security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection solutions.
- Participate actively in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance our security posture.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in cybersecurity, including incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), operating systems (Linux, Windows), and cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with a range of security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM platforms, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, IAM solutions).
- In-depth knowledge of common security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, capable of conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a closely related technical field.
