Job Description

As a Data Analyst focusing on remote operations, you will leverage your expertise in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization to identify trends, create comprehensive reports, and develop predictive models. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques.
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present key findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis projects.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and anomalies, proposing solutions for data quality improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast trends and inform decision-making.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management and team members in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, new analytical techniques, and data technologies to continuously enhance our data capabilities.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis concepts and techniques
