Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update various types of data from source documents (e.g., forms, records) into computer systems and databases.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents to detect errors or discrepancies and correct them proactively.
- Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and security of all data handled, adhering strictly to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform regular data backups to ensure data preservation and disaster recovery readiness.
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper files in an orderly manner for easy retrieval.
- Prepare and sort source documents for efficient data entry processing.
- Generate basic reports, retrieve specific information, and provide preliminary data analysis when required by supervisors.
- Comply with all internal data integrity and security policies, as well as external data protection regulations.
- Assist with other administrative and clerical tasks as needed to support team operations and departmental objectives.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (Matric Certificate is essential)
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for data handling.
