Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update customer, transactional, and operational data into designated databases and systems.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information handled in compliance with bank policies and data protection regulations.
  • Prepare and sort documents for data entry, ensuring proper filing and organization.
  • Perform regular data quality checks and identify discrepancies, reporting issues to supervisors promptly.
  • Assist in compiling, verifying, and distributing reports as required by various departments.
  • Collaborate with various departments to retrieve necessary information and resolve data-related queries.
  • Adhere to all data entry procedures, company policies, and relevant regulatory compliance standards.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed to support overall team operations and efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in data entry or a related administrative role (minimum 1 year).
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy (e.g., 40 WPM with high accuracy).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data handling.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of data privacy principles and regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with banking operations or financial data entry processes.
