Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning windows.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including tubs, showers, toilets, sinks, and floors.
  • Replenish guest room supplies and amenities such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items.
  • Inspect rooms for repairs or unsafe conditions and report them to supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other designated spaces.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
  • Manage linen stock and ensure proper handling of laundry.
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and equipment.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset given the location.
