As a Daycare Lead, you will be instrumental in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children under our care. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities and play.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment at all times.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of daily educational programs aligned with early years frameworks.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents/guardians regarding children's progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding regulations and policies.
- Support junior staff members and assist with their training, guidance, and development under the direction of senior management.
- Monitor children's development and behavior, reporting observations and progress to senior staff and parents.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary, adhering to established protocols and certifications.
- Help manage classroom supplies, resources, and equipment, ensuring availability and proper use.
Required Skills
- Passion for early childhood education and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with both children and adults.
- Ability to engage and interact positively and therapeutically with children of various ages.

Preferred Qualifications
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or a related field.
- Previous experience (even voluntary) in a daycare, nursery, preschool, or school setting.
- Current First Aid and Paediatric First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one upon offer of employment).
