Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick up and deliver documents, packages, and other items to designated locations within Ibadan and surrounding areas.
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and pick-ups, including recipient signatures and precise time stamps.
- Ensure the utmost security and strict confidentiality of all items handled during transit.
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Operate company-provided vehicles or motorcycles safely and responsibly, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform routine pre-and-post-trip checks on assigned vehicles/motorcycles and promptly report any maintenance needs or issues.
- Assist with other administrative or logistical tasks as required, providing essential support to the broader team.
- Represent Career.zycto professionally and courteously during all interactions with clients, partners, and the public.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a messenger or in a similar delivery/logistics role.
- Valid Nigerian driver's license (Class A for motorcycle or Class B/C for car, as applicable).
- Excellent, in-depth knowledge of Ibadan city routes and surrounding key areas.
- Strong time management, organizational, and route planning skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deliveries efficiently under pressure.
- Demonstrated high level of integrity, honesty, and discretion in handling sensitive materials.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills for professional interactions.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages as needed (within reasonable limits).
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or O'Level equivalent.
- Familiarity with modern GPS devices or mobile mapping applications for navigation.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance awareness.
