Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product information and recommendations.
- Operate deli equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, scales, and ovens.
- Prepare a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, hot foods, and party platters according to company recipes and standards.
- Accurately slice, weigh, package, and price meats, cheeses, and other deli products.
- Maintain clean and sanitized work areas, equipment, and display cases throughout the shift, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor product freshness and rotation, ensuring only high-quality items are offered for sale.
- Stock and arrange deli merchandise in an attractive and organized manner.
- Process customer transactions accurately at the register, handling cash and credit card payments.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking deliveries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth deli operations and excellent customer service.
