Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, provide excellent service, and assist with their deli orders.
- Prepare a variety of deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and platters, following established recipes and hygiene standards.
- Operate deli equipment such as meat slicers, ovens, and scales safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, including deli cases, counters, and food preparation areas.
- Ensure proper rotation of products and monitor inventory to minimize waste.
- Stock deli cases and shelves with fresh products throughout the day.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines diligently.
- Assist with receiving and storing deli supplies and ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and customer satisfaction.
