Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport various goods and packages to designated locations within Lagos Island and surrounding areas.
- Accurately verify contents of shipments against delivery manifests and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, representing Career.zycto with integrity and excellent service.
- Manage delivery routes and schedules effectively to ensure timely completion of all deliveries.
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of delivery vehicles and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle cash or process electronic payments for deliveries as required, maintaining accurate records.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations.
- Communicate any delays, issues, or challenges encountered during delivery routes to the dispatcher or supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and ensure proper storage of goods.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to navigate Lagos road networks efficiently and safely.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for record-keeping and payment handling.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
