Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily delivery schedules and routes for distribution vehicles to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor real-time delivery progress using tracking systems, identifying and resolving potential delays or issues promptly.
- Liaise closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution.
- Process delivery documentation, including manifests, waybills, and proof of delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries or delivery-related complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and coordinating stock movements within the distribution center.
- Generate regular reports on delivery performance, efficiency, and incident management.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies for all distribution activities.
- Assist with dispatching and receiving processes as needed.
