Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet strict deadlines.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Verify order accuracy and collect necessary signatures or payments upon delivery.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Represent the client company professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class G driver's license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using GPS devices and mapping applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Proven reliability and punctuality.
