Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport goods to various destinations within Agric, Ikorodu, and surrounding areas.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Load and unload packages carefully, ensuring their integrity and security.
- Verify order accuracy with customers upon delivery and obtain necessary signatures.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, handling inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic records accurately.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to resolve delivery challenges.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (Class G or higher, as applicable in Nigeria)
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience
- Thorough knowledge of Ikorodu roads and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights (up to 25kg)
- Familiarity with navigation tools and GPS devices
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
