Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport goods to designated locations within Victoria Island and surrounding areas.
- Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to ensure timely and secure package delivery.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the company vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, vehicle logs, and any incidents encountered.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing inquiries professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or potential delays.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class G or equivalent)
- Proven clean driving record
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks, especially Victoria Island, Ikoyi, and Lekki
- Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights (up to 25kg)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
